The MAGA crew has found a new enemy within its own ranks: newly-sworn in Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Last week, Bondi received immense backlash from both sides of the aisle after failing to release any new information on Jeffrey Epstein—despite her claims that fresh, bombshell evidence against the sex offender would be in the file drop which she guaranteed would “make you sick.”
She eventually tried to flip the script, accusing the FBI of withholding “thousands of pages of documents” about Epstein’s case. In a letter to the agency’s new leader Kash Patel, she demanded that “by 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, February 28, the FBI will deliver the full and complete Epstein files to my office.” The day came and went, and Bondi has remained mum on X about the supposed documents.

MAGA supporters, however, are not letting it slide.
In recent X posts unrelated to Epstein by the attorney general, users dragged Bondi for not fulfilling her promises on the files. Some called on President Donald Trump to remove her from her post, and demanded answers.
“It would be nice if you did what you said you would do,” wrote one user. “So far you are a huge disappointment.”
“When are we going to hear from YOU,” another commented. “I’m not talking about your Fox News Media tour either. So far the American people are extremely dissatisfied with your lies, in-actions, and now silence.”
MAGA influencer Laura Loomer even coined a term for Bondi’s major letdown: bindergate, referencing large binders given to conservative media at the White House last week that allegedly contained the new information. Loomer gave kudos to CNN for their coverage on Bondi, and accused the attorney general of blocking her on X.
Bondi, who replaced disgraced Matt Gaetz as the president’s nominee after his drop-out due to a plethora of scandals, was confirmed early last month. At first, MAGA fans supported the choice—but it seems like tides are turning.
“You have yet to impress us,” a critic posted to X. “You better live up to MAGA standards and expectations.”
